Visa & Air Tickets to Mexico

Mexico visa was a cake walk. As we had a consulate in San Jose downtown it was very convenient. We had to go there twice once to get the appointment and the other to do the finger printing and photo. We got the stamping on the passport the same day ,we waited for little less than an hour. The staff at the consulate were very courteous. The visa is a multiple entry and valid for 6 months You can get all the details on the forms and required documents for the visa at this link.

At the consulate few people mistook us for native Mexicans and started speaking to us in Spanish and both of us have no knowledge of that language,it will be an adventure for us in Mexico especially the interior country :-)

AIR TICKETS

Well I must say a lot of effort by Raji went into the same. What she found was two one way tickets were cheaper than the return ticket. Also since we had a multi-city plan it worked in our favor. After extensive search on Kayak,Mexicana, Orbitz,Travelocity,Lastminute etc.............. we settled for Mexicana airlines web site.

If you have a long last name as Raji does :-) you will have to call the help desk and get the booking done as the last name field is set at 12 characters!!!!

We are also taking an internal domestic flight from Mexico City to Villehormosa AVIACSA, we booked on the airlines website.
